Vans joins with legendary skateboard photographer Atiba Jefferson in the "United through Skateboarding" series, a tribute to skateboarding, a collection that reflects skate culture in all its sides, from the streets to the studio. Known for capturing some of the most iconic skate images of all time, Atiba’s influence extends well beyond skateboarding, spanning music, fashion, art, and sport.

For this collection Atiba has reworked multiple classic Vans signature models, including the Half-Cab with a new "wafflecup" sole that combines the legendary grip and pattern of the Vans waffle vulcanized sole with the comfort and cushion of a high-tech cupsole. The Old Skool 36+ stands out with one of Atiba's most iconic photos of skate legend, John Cardiel on the insole, with custom hand-drawn logos by graffiti artist, Haze. Atiba also adds his custom details to the Safe Low, a new vulcanized shoe first designed with Palace, based on the Half Cab and MC 96’. This shoe features Ghillie laces, a sock bootie for ultimate comfort and locked it fit.
